When Writer's Digest approached me about doing this book, I surveyed hundreds of online writers and editors through Inkspot and Inklings about their online experiences, how they made money online, where they found their market info, how writing for the online market differed from other publications.

Most of the book consists of the results of my findings, as well as articles by and interviews with professional online writers and editors. The last part of the book are market listings for paying online markets, carefully researched to verify accuracy.
