Dear Writers,
Shortly after I got online, I discovered Inkspot. My writing had been in a slump for months. Thanks to Debbie Ridpath Ohi and Moira Allen - I found many new markets, other writers and lots of great, practical and inspiring advice.
When Debbie started the forums, I quickly became moderator of the Non-fiction forum. When the position of Project Leader was opened - I applied. To my amazement I got it! I was thrilled. I loved the job. I had the privilege of working with so many talented moderators and writers.
Amongst my many enjoyable duties was answering e-mails from writers all over the world and every age from 10 to 100. Two e-mails stand out in my mind. One from a woman in a nursing home who wrote- "All my life I've wanted to be a writer." By coincidence I got a message from a ten year old girl that week- using that same phrase. Inkspot has so many people in so many ways.
I want to thank Debbie for giving this opportunity and for all the support I've gotten from the Inkspot community.
